Can You Imagine being told NO over 1,000 times. Every time you hear the word “NO”…get excited!

Yea right! – The fact is that nobody likes to hear the word “NO”.

BUT, persistence, endurance, faith and believe in what you are sharing will keep you empowered to get your YES.

Let me explain…

Have you heard the story about Colonel Sanders, founder of the Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise?

Just as he was about to retire, he received his first social security check and was so horrified with how little money he was going to have to live on, he made the decision to make a change in his life. The only thing he had of value was his fried chicken recipe that everyone seemed to love. So, he set out to sell his chicken recipe to every restaurant he could. All he asked in return was that they simply pay him a small amount of money (like a “residual income”) for every fried chicken dinner they served using his special recipe. Not an unreasonable request, right?

Well, he was told “no” over 1000 times!

Can you imagine how he felt? He was rejected over 1000 times! Imagine how you’d feel if you were in his shoes. Would YOU keep pressing on even after being rejected 1000 times? Obviously, Colonel Sanders believed in himself and believed in his idea so strongly he was not willing to quit. Shortly after hearing all those “no’s”, he got his first “YES.” So, how well did his persistence pay off? I think you may already know that answer question.

Today, there is at least one Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in just about every city across America with a population of more than 30,000 people and Colonel Sanders enjoyed the rest of his retirement years as a very wealthy man. Do you think he cared about having to hear over 1000 “no’s” at that point?

Let me share one more story with you…
When his daughter was very young, Walt Disney took her to a local fair and carnival. As he was watching her have such a great time, he stopped to notice how much fun all the other families were having as well. The thought occurred to him how great it would be if families had a place they could travel to year round where they could have that same kind of fun in what seemed like an almost magical environment for children. Great idea, right?

Well, in his attempts to get financing for his dream of “Disneyland,” Walt Disney was told “no” by 413 banks before he got his first “yes”!

Again, imagine the way he must have felt after just the first 50 banks who said “no.” Would you have been willing to persist through 413 “no’s” in a row yourself? However, if you knew the final outcome was going to end up becoming the vacation capital of the world you now see in Orlando Florida, would those 413 “no’s” matter then?

The point of these two stories is that the “no’s” you hear in this business really don’t matter. Remember, we can’t help someone who isn’t willing to help themselves. If your guest says “no” to looking at your Mandura business, or even if they say “no” after they’ve had a chance to learn more about it, that’s O.K. They’re not saying “no” to you, they’re saying “no” to themselves their health and their family and their own future.

In this business, we’re just looking for those people who are serious about having better health, making a change in their life and those are the people that will say “yes”.
